Child and teen psychology

 
 

Child and teen (pediatric) psychologists use talk therapy to help children, teens and their families with emotional issues. They assess and evaluate a child’s behavior and development.

Psychologists do not prescribe medicine or medical tests. They work with parents, doctors, psychiatrists and social workers to help children or teens with:
