Steve Schneider, director of the Substance Abuse Services at New Ulm Medical Center, said the service has seen thousands of patients over the years. In August, with the family of the late Mike Lust, he held a fundraiser to benefit the Sister Kenny Golf Program for Individuals with Physical Disabilities.
The golf league, a service of Allina's Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, has met every Monday afternoon at Edina's municipal golf course for more than 30 years.
