This finding by researchers at Abbott Northwestern Hospital comes from a first-of-its-kind study of the impact of an inpatient integrative medicine program on pain.

United Hospital, part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, switched its food vendor that operates on a room-service model. Instead of mass preparing food and delivering trays at times designated by the unit, the new vendor, Gaithersburg, Md.-based Sodexo, prepares meals individually that patients order from a menu.
