Borders Book Drive for pediatric patients at Unity Hospital
COON RAPIDS, Minn. 08/04/2010--
Now through Aug. 31, shoppers at Borders book store in Coon Rapids have the opportunity to share a book with a child at Unity or Mercy hospital.
During checkout, shoppers will be asked if they would like to purchase an additional book to donate. They can choose a favorite book to share, or the clerk will select a book, and add it to the customer's purchase.
Borders will collect books until Aug. 31. The Mercy & Unity Hospitals Foundation will deliver them to appropriate departments to give to patients.
