Yoga classes now offered at Mercy Hospital
COON RAPIDS, Minn. 04/01/2009--Increase flexibility and balance, reduce stress and improve muscle tone while doing something that feels great.
Mercy Hospital is offering yoga classes beginning Tuesday, April 14.
- Try the new Lunchtime Yoga Sampler – a 25-minute, no sweat class designed to help you relax and energize on Tuesdays, from 12 to 12:25 p.m. Come as you are – no mats needed, as this class uses chairs or standing positions. Each class is $5.
- Yoga Basics is a six-week class designed for beginners and meets on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. For those with some yoga experience, the yoga class on Tuesdays from 4:50 to 5:50 p.m., offers light to moderately vigorous activity. Both classes are $60.
Call Mercy Hospital's Fitness Center at 763-236-8024 to register. All classes are taught by Kristy Blick, exercise physiologist and registered yoga teacher.
