Nursing scholarships from Mercy Hospital Auxiliary: Request an application by May 8

05/01/2009--Applications are now being accepted for nursing scholarships to be awarded by the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary for the 2009-2010 academic year. The scholarships are awarded annually to area residents on the basis of academic standing, personal interview and dedication. This year, nine local nursing students will receive scholarships of $1,000 each.

The Auxiliary raises funds for the scholarships through a variety of sources, including the hospital’s gift shop, coffee shop, craft shows, book fairs, other sales, and donations.
