Unity Community Gardens
For the second year, we are pleased to offer community garden plots for local residents and hospital employees. The Unity Community Gardens has 40 plots and are a great way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with your community and bring freshly grown, healthy food into your home.
Plots are available to gardeners from May until October. Gardeners may plant whatever they wish during the season: fruits, vegetables, herbs, even flowers. Unity Hospital will provide 15 foot by 20 foot garden plot for each renter, trash contatiners, twice a week watering, and a water spigot for residents to do additional watering as they wish.
Community garden plots are now available at Unity Hospital, and gardeners can begin planting May 1. Plots go quickly, reserve yours today.
